How e-vouchers work
Updated 1 October 2026
Most deals on this site are e-vouchers: you pay online, get a QR code, and show your phone at the venue. Here's the whole process, with the gotchas.
- Pick the exact product. A "60-minute massage voucher" covers that treatment. Not the spa's full menu. A show voucher covers the ticket tier you selected. Read the inclusions before you pay.
- Book online and get the voucher by email. Usually instant, sometimes within a few hours. Save the QR code offline. Macau's wifi is good, but don't rely on it at a tower deck.
- Reserve your slot where required. The bungy, Skyjump and spa treatments need a time booked after purchase. Weekend afternoons go first, so don't buy Saturday's voucher on Saturday morning.
- Show up and show your phone. No printing needed anywhere we've listed. Bring ID matching the booking name for good measure.
What to check before you pay
- Cancellation terms. These vary by product and the listing governs. Some vouchers are refundable up to 24–72 hours ahead, others aren't. Check before you commit.
- Validity window. Most vouchers are valid for a set period (often 30–90 days). Don't buy January's trip in September unless the window covers it.
- What's excluded. Peak-date surcharges, seat upgrades, and add-ons are the usual extras. The listing spells them out.
- Weather dependence. Tower activities pause in high winds. Don't schedule the bungy for your last morning in Macau.
Why book as a voucher instead of at the door?
Two honest reasons: you skip the ticket-desk queue, and you lock in your slot before you arrive. That matters for the bungy and the popular spas. We don't claim vouchers are always cheaper than the door price; sometimes they are, sometimes it's about convenience. The listing shows the price either way.
Questions
Is an e-voucher a real ticket?
Yes. It is the booking, not a discount coupon. You get a QR code by email, show it on your phone at the venue, and you are in. No printing, no ticket desk.
Do vouchers expire?
Each listing states its own validity period. Some are valid for months, some only on specific dates. Check the listing before you pay, and use the voucher inside its window.
Are vouchers always cheaper than the door price?
No, and we won't claim they are. Two honest reasons to book a voucher anyway: you skip the ticket-desk queue, and you lock in your slot before you arrive. That matters most for the bungy and the popular spas.
Can I get a refund if my plans change?
It depends on the product. Each listing states its own cancellation terms, and the listing governs. Check them before you pay, especially for timed slots.
Do I need to book a time slot after buying?
Some activities ask you to; the listing tells you. Either way, reserve early: weekend afternoons sell out first, and you don't want the slot you want to be gone.
How does Macau Deals make money from vouchers?
Our Klook and Trip.com links carry a partner ID that may earn us a commission. It comes from the platform's side and never affects which deals we list.
What if the venue is closed or my activity is cancelled?
Weather can pause tower activities, and shows take dark days. The listing's terms govern what happens then. If a session is cancelled, contact the booking platform's support first: you paid them directly.
