Macau Hotel Deals Worth Booking This Month: November 2026

Published 3 November 2026

Checked 3 November 2026. November in Macau is not one market, it is three. The first half of the month is the build-up: ordinary weekends, fair rates, and the city dressing itself for the Grand Prix. Then comes race week, Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 November, when the 73rd Macau Grand Prix takes over the peninsula and every hotel in the city reprices around it. Then, almost nobody notices, the last week of the month goes quiet again, with Whisky Live at Grand Lisboa Palace on 27 and 28 November and the Macau Food Festival running beside the Tower. The same room can cost twice as much in the middle of that sequence as it does at either end, so the November question is not really which hotel. It is which November you are coming for.

We checked the starting rate on all nine of our hotel listings on 3 November 2026. The numbers below are the lowest rates those listings currently show, in US dollars, and they are a map of where each hotel sits in the market rather than a quote for your dates. The rate for your exact nights is the one that counts, and November is the month to read that sentence twice.

The deals at a glance

Prices are the starting rates shown on each hotel's Trip.com listing when checked on 3 November 2026. A starting rate is the lowest rate the listing shows across its calendar, not a quote for your dates. Race week and weekends price higher, sometimes much higher.

The value end: where November starts cheapest

Sofitel Macau at Ponte 16, from US$70. The peninsula entry on our list, in the historic Inner Harbour, a short walk from Senado Square and the old town. It starts lower than everything else we list because it is smaller and older than the Cotai giants, and for an old-town trip in the quiet first half of November that is exactly the trade most people should make. Peninsula inventory is thin, though, and it reprices early for race week. If the Sofitel is your hotel, book it first and book it refundable.

The Parisian Macao, from US$109. One of the cheapest of the big Cotai resorts on this check, as it was when we priced Grand Prix week in October. Thousands of rooms give it room to absorb a peak, and the starting rate shows it. For a first November trip that wants the full Strip experience, the Eiffel Tower outside the window and change left over for the rest of the trip, this is the Cotai value anchor again this month.

Grand Lisboa Palace Macau, from US$91. The surprise of the month. SJM's Cotai flagship, the newest of the mega-resorts, starts below the Parisian, the lowest starting rate of any Cotai mega-resort on this check, and it is the host resort for Whisky Live on 27 and 28 November. Anyone coming for the whisky should price this listing first: sleeping in the building the festival is in, at a starting rate like this, is the easiest decision of the month. Its own hotel packages for the event, which bundle tickets and tasting tokens, are covered in our Whisky Live weekend guide.

The middle: the two defaults

Galaxy Hotel, from US$156. The family default. The Grand Resort Deck is less of a factor in November than in summer, but Galaxy's scale, dining depth and Taipa Village on the doorstep keep it the safest pick for a mixed group. Its starting rate sits sensibly between the value end and the Venetian.

The Venetian Macao, from US$161. The first-timer's default, and still the benchmark: every room a suite, everything under one roof, teamLab downstairs. A starting rate of US$161 for a 70-square-metre suite is the number the rest of Cotai has to argue with. If it is your first trip and your dates fall outside race week, this is the booking most people should simply make.

The quiet luxury end

Mandarin Oriental Macau, from US$207. The calm one: no casino floor, a waterfront setting at One Central, and the peninsula's best sunset view over Nam Van Lake. November suits it, because the old town is the city's best walking district in the cooler weeks. Travellers who want Macau without the megaresort should start here.

Wynn Palace, from US$224. Cotai's polished flagship, with the Performance Lake and the SkyCab over it. The starting rate is a step above the Venetian's, and the product is a step above too: this is the special-occasion booking, priced like one.

The two to price carefully

The Londoner Hotel, from US$444, and MGM Cotai, from US$604. Both are excellent hotels, and both listings were showing starting rates far above their neighbours when we checked. Read that the right way: a starting rate is the lowest rate on the listing's calendar, and a high floor usually means the cheap nights have already sold or the listing is pricing around the Grand Prix. It does not mean every November night costs that. It does mean these two are the listings to check with your real dates in hand rather than to assume, and to compare against the Parisian and the Venetian before paying. If your dates are flexible, try the last week of the month: the post-race dip is where these two usually come back to earth.

How November prices, week by week

To Sunday 15 November: the softest part of the month. Ordinary autumn rates, the Food Festival not yet open, the race build-up mostly scaffolding. If your trip is about the city rather than an event, come now.

Monday 16 to Sunday 22 November: Grand Prix week. The race itself runs Thursday to Sunday, and our separate Grand Prix guides cover the track-view hotels and the booking timeline. The short version: peninsula hotels near the circuit jump hardest, the Cotai giants absorb it longest, and refundable rates booked early beat everything else.

Monday 23 to Monday 30 November: the dip after the race, and the connoisseur's week. Whisky Live runs 27 and 28 November at Grand Lisboa Palace, the Food Festival is on at Sai Van Lake Square until 6 December, and the hotels have stopped pricing for the race. The marathon follows on Sunday 6 December, just outside the month, if you want a second event to build around.

Before you book

Book race week refundable, and write the cancellation deadline in your diary the way we set out in the Grand Prix booking timeline. Compare final totals, not headline rates: Trip.com shows its hotel totals with taxes and fees in, while hotel direct rates in Macau are commonly quoted before the 10 percent service charge and 5 percent tourism tax are added. And search your whole block of nights rather than single nights, because minimum stays over the race weekend can make a hotel look sold out when it is not. The full nine, with the steer on who each hotel suits, live on our hotel deals page, and the whole of Macau can be searched from the same listings.

Questions

Are these November prices guaranteed?

No. They are the starting rates shown on each hotel's Trip.com listing when we checked on 3 November 2026. Hotels reprice daily, and November reprices faster than most months because of the Grand Prix. The rate on the listing for your dates is the rate that counts.

Which week of November is cheapest?

Usually the first half of the month, and the week after the Grand Prix runs it close. Race week itself, 19 to 22 November, is the most expensive stretch of the Macau autumn.

Why do The Londoner and MGM Cotai start so much higher this month?

A starting rate is the lowest rate left on the listing's calendar. When the floor is high, the cheaper nights have sold or the listing is holding race-week pricing. Check both with your actual dates before ruling them out, and compare the total against the Parisian and the Venetian.

Should I book direct or on Trip.com?

Compare the same room, the same dates and the same cancellation terms, and compare the final total. Trip.com totals include taxes and fees; direct rates often add a 10 percent service charge and the 5 percent tourism tax at the end. In November, a refundable platform rate is also a free option on a room while prices settle.

Do these links earn you a commission?

Yes. Our Trip.com links carry our partner ID and may earn us a commission. It is disclosed on every booking button, and it never affects which hotels we list or what we say about them.

Starting rates from the nine hotels' Trip.com listings, checked 3 November 2026, in US dollars as the listings display them. Grand Prix dates, 19 to 22 November 2026, from the event's official programme. Whisky Live dates, 27 and 28 November 2026, from the organiser. Rates move daily; the live rate for your dates is the one that counts.
