Macau hotel deals

Updated 1 October 2026

In Macau the hotel is half the trip. The big Cotai resorts run like small cities, and the peninsula grand dames trade on history and harbour views. Picking the right base shapes everything else, so this page does the choosing work for you.

Nine hotels, one booking link each, and every link goes to the exact hotel listing. Each entry carries a steer on who it is for, so match the hotel to your plans, then compare your dates on the listing for the live price.

When to book

Macau hotel prices swing hard around events. The Grand Prix (19–22 November 2026) and Chinese New Year are the priciest weekends of the year. Book those months ahead. Midweek outside events is usually the sweet spot. Prices on the listings change daily, so the number you see when you click is the number that counts.

Questions

Are these the cheapest hotel prices available?

We don't claim that. Each listing is one bookable room option with the briefing on whether it fits. Hotels reprice daily, so compare the listing against the hotel's own site if you want. The price when you click is the price that counts.

Why does each hotel only get one listing?

Because five versions of the same room with different prices is how travellers overpay. We list one room option per hotel, give it the full briefing, and link to the exact listing.

Do these hotel links earn you a commission?

Yes. Our Trip.com hotel links carry our partner ID, and our Klook experience and spa links do too. That is disclosed on every booking button.

Can I cancel or change a hotel booking?

It depends on the rate. Each listing states its own cancellation terms, and the listing governs. Read them before you pay, especially for Grand Prix and holiday weekends.

When is the cheapest time to stay in Macau?

Midweek outside major events is usually the sweet spot. Prices spike hard around Chinese New Year, the Golden Weeks and the Grand Prix (19–22 November 2026). Book those months ahead, or avoid those weekends if your dates are flexible.

Do listed prices include taxes and fees?

Not always. Macau hotels often add a service charge and government tax on top of the room rate. Check the total on the listing before you pay; that is the number that matters.

How do I know which hotel fits my trip?

The Pick this if line under each hotel is the honest version: first-timers, old-town explorers, luxury spa trips. If you want the full spa picture before choosing, see macaumassage.com.
