Macau Grand Prix: hotels with track views

Updated 29 September 2026

The 73rd Macau Grand Prix runs 19–22 November 2026. Formula 3, GT, touring cars and motorcycles on the 6.2 km Guia street circuit. (Not Formula 1, despite the name. F1 champions like Senna and Schumacher raced here back in their F3 days.)

How to use this guide: pick your hotel below, book on Trip.com, and request a track-facing room when you book. The room notes tell you exactly what to ask for. Our nine hotel deals are on Cotai and the waterfront, and none overlooks the circuit, so for race weekend these six trackside hotels are the pick.

Track views

Artyzen Grand Lapa

The classic racegoer pick. Closest to the chequered flag, pits and paddocks, on the first high-speed bend.

Ask for: a city-facing room overlooking Avenida da Amizade (sea-view rooms face the wrong way). Superior rooms on floors 5–7 and Deluxe rooms on floors 8–13 face the track. The Friendship Terrace runs a race-weekend viewing deck with barbecue buffet.

StarWorld Hotel

On Avenida da Amizade between Mandarin Bend and the infamous Lisboa Bend. Cars pass at over 280 km/h on the long straight.

Ask for: a track-facing room; rooms run from 36 m² deluxe up to the 108 m² StarWorld Suite. Two-Michelin-star Cantonese restaurant in-house for race-week dinners.

Wynn Macau

Also on the straight. 1,000+ rooms across two towers, and the hotel leans into race week with a hypercar exhibition through November.

Ask for: a track-facing suite: one and two-bedroom suites plus Encore salon suites. Two two-Michelin-star restaurants if you're celebrating a podium.

Hotel Lisboa

The one with a corner named after it. Right at the Lisboa Bend, where cars brake from 280 km/h into a 90-degree right-hander. The Lisboa Stand's seats are the priciest of the weekend.

Ask for: a room facing the Lisboa Bend. Old-school glamour, five restaurants, indoor pool. And the most dramatic single view on the circuit.

Waldo Hotel

Opposite the Artyzen Grand Lapa near the start of the course. Similar proximity, smaller price tag. It openly courts the racing crowd.

Pick this if: you want trackside on a budget. Basic but comfortable rooms with the engines in constant earshot. Short walk to the Grand Prix Museum.

Booking tips for race weekend

Grand Prix hotels FAQ

Which Macau hotels have views of the Grand Prix circuit?

Six hotels sit right on the Guia Circuit with track-facing rooms: Artyzen Grand Lapa, StarWorld Hotel, Wynn Macau, Hotel Lisboa, Waldo Hotel and Hotel Guia. Always ask for a track-facing room explicitly: not every room overlooks the circuit.

When is the 2026 Macau Grand Prix?

19–22 November 2026, the 73rd edition: Formula 3, GT, touring car and motorcycle races on the 6.2 km Guia street circuit.

Track-view room or grandstand seat?

A track-view room gives you the whole weekend from your balcony; a grandstand seat (e.g. the Lisboa Stand) puts you at one corner for race day. Many racegoers do both.

How early should I book?

As early as you can. It's one of Macau's priciest hotel weekends, and small trackside hotels like Hotel Guia (90 rooms) sell out far ahead.
