Family bundles in Macau: the combos that actually save money

Published 26 October 2026

Family tickets are where Macau's pricing gets slippery: bundles priced per person, child prices that quietly undercut the bundle, and hotel packages that are worth more than any ticket deal. This guide works through the verified family bundles one by one: the Studio City four-in-one package, the attraction pass maths for children, the small ride bundles, and the hotel picks where a family of four fits one room. Prices were checked against live sources on 26 October 2026, plus the pass listing we priced in full on 21 October; the listing or venue page for your date always governs.

The headline bundle: Studio City FUNtastic Four, MOP 618

Studio City sells the strongest family bundle in Macau on its own attraction pages. The FUNtastic Four Package costs MOP 618 per person, valued at MOP 918, and covers four things: a standard ticket to Studio City Water Park, a ride on the Golden Reel figure-8 Ferris wheel, a ticket to Super Fun Zone, and a 2D movie voucher for Studio City Cinema. You get five days to use the four parts, so it works as one big day out or spread across a stay.

The catches, plainly. The MOP 618 price is for Melco Beyond members, and members have to show their membership card at the attraction entrances. Membership is the resort's loyalty programme; join before you go rather than at the door. And the price is the same for adults and children, which makes it a better deal for adults and older kids than for small children who would pay less, or nothing, at some gates. There is no booking button here because the package is sold by Studio City itself; buy it on the official Studio City site.

The other Studio City combos

Golden Reel plus Stardust, MOP 190 per person. The Golden Reel's standard ticket is MOP 100 on the official page (the wheel runs 2pm to 8pm, with closed days to check), and Studio City bundles the ride with its Stardust 4D time travel experience at MOP 190 per person. A neat two-stop afternoon for older children, at a price that needs no membership.

Super Fun Zone after 4pm, half price. The indoor play zone's official page offers admission at 50% off for entry from 4pm to 7pm. Read the exclusions before you plan around it: the offer skips holidays and named peak dates, including 19 to 31 December 2026. Outside those dates it is the cheapest legitimate family ticket in Cotai.

Stay and Play. Studio City's offers page also lists a Stay and Play hotel package, with a booking and stay window running to 31 December 2026, bundling the hotel with its own leisure facilities. The offers page does not publish a single headline price, because it moves with the room rate; price it against a room-only rate for your dates before assuming the bundle wins.

The attraction pass, with children in the maths

The Klook Pass Macau (choose 2 to 4 attractions from 14, valid 30 days) is the bundle families ask us about most, and our pass guide ran its adult maths in full on 21 October 2026: the 2-attraction pass at about MOP 750 only pays off when House of Dancing Water is one of the picks. Children change that maths for the worse. The pass is priced per person at the standard rate, while the gates charge children less: teamLab SuperNature is MOP 288 for adults and MOP 208 for children aged 3 to 12 (under 3s free, closed Wednesdays), and the Macau Tower observation deck is MOP 208 for adults and MOP 138 for children and seniors.

The family play: if the pass pays off for the adults in your group, buy it for the adults only, and buy the children their cheaper gate or platform child tickets for the same attractions. Our pass guide has the break-even rule and the full price table; the buttons below are the same verified listings it used.

Kid-friendly hotels where the room does the saving

The Venetian Macao: one room, four people. Every room at the Venetian is a suite with a separate living area, which is why our sister site's family hotels guide rates it best for space. The money detail is on its Trip.com policy page: children aged 0 to 12 stay free when no extra bed is needed. For a family of four, one suite instead of two rooms is a bigger saving than any ticket bundle on this page. The canals and gondolas downstairs are the evening entertainment, and the gondola is also a pass pick if you are running the pass maths above.

The Parisian Macao: the family value pick. The Parisian's Sheraton Grand Macao side is the family workhorse of Cotai: big rooms, kids facilities, and the half-scale Eiffel Tower outside, with its observation deck priced at MOP 98 for Level 37 on the ticketing page we checked for the pass guide. It is the pick when you want the landmark resort without Venetian suite prices. What is on Macau's family hotels guide compares both, plus Galaxy Macau and Studio City, in full.

Studio City Hotel, staying where the bundle lives. If the FUNtastic Four is your plan, staying at Studio City removes the travel from it entirely: water park, wheel, play zone and cinema are all inside the one resort. Price the Stay and Play package against the room-only rate, and remember the package's four parts still need the Melco Beyond membership to hit MOP 618.

The family bundle rules

1. Price bundles per person, then price the children separately. A bundle that charges children the adult rate, like FUNtastic Four, competes against child gate prices, not adult ones. It can still win for water park days; it rarely wins for a five year old.

2. Membership bundles are only a deal if you actually join. FUNtastic Four's MOP 618 is a member price with a card check at the entrance. Join in advance, on the resort's own channels.

3. Use the validity window. Five days on FUNtastic Four and 30 days on the attraction pass mean you do not have to sprint. Bundles only lose money when parts expire unused, so count the days you really have before you buy.

4. The room is the biggest bundle. One suite that fits four, with children staying free, beats every ticket combination here. Start the family budget at the hotel, then bundle the tickets.

For the rest of the family trip, our experience deals page carries the other verified ticketed attractions, and whatsonmacau.com has a family itinerary that strings them into days.

Questions

What is the best family bundle in Macau?

On verified prices, Studio City's FUNtastic Four package: MOP 618 per person for Melco Beyond members, valued at MOP 918, covering a Studio City Water Park standard ticket, a Golden Reel ride, a Super Fun Zone ticket and a 2D movie voucher, with five days to use the four parts. The catch is in the name: you need the free Melco Beyond membership, and the same price applies to adults and children.

Is the Klook Pass Macau worth it for families?

Usually not for the children. The pass is priced per person at the standard rate (about MOP 750 for two attractions, checked 21 October 2026), while the gate has child prices: teamLab SuperNature is MOP 208 for ages 3 to 12 against MOP 288 for adults, and the Macau Tower deck is MOP 138 for children against MOP 208. Run the adults on the pass maths in our pass guide and buy the kids gate tickets, unless the listing shows a child pass price for your dates.

Which Macau hotel is the easiest for a family of four?

The Venetian Macao, because every room is a suite with a separate living area, so two adults and two children fit one room. Its Trip.com policy page also states that children aged 0 to 12 stay free when no extra bed is needed. Studio City is the pick when the attractions matter more than the room, with its Stay and Play hotel package running to 31 December 2026 on the official offers page.

How much is the Golden Reel at Studio City?

A standard ticket is MOP 100 per person on the official Studio City page, and the wheel runs 2pm to 8pm with its own closed days. Studio City also sells a Golden Reel and Stardust 4D package at MOP 190 per person, and bundles the wheel into the FUNtastic Four package above.

Are there half price family tickets in Macau?

Yes, one worth knowing: Super Fun Zone at Studio City offers admission at 50% off after 4pm, for entry between 4pm and 7pm, on its official page. The offer excludes holidays and a list of peak dates that includes 19 to 31 December 2026, so it suits a school holiday afternoon outside the Christmas peak, not the festive fortnight itself.

Do these booking links earn you a commission?

Yes. Our Klook and Trip.com links carry our partner IDs and may earn us a commission, disclosed on every booking button. The venue packages in this guide are sold by the venues themselves; we link them as information, and the commission never affects which bundles we recommend.
